Juno Beach Homes For Sale

Just like Jupiter, there is a rich history going back to 500 BC. Today the shore line in Juno Beach is dabbed with lovely High Rise Condominiums. The north of the beach is where you will find the Juno Beach Fishing Pier and it is an excellent spot for catching Snook (look it up …it’s a real fish). At the south end of Juno Beach is one of the most exclusive Golf Clubs in the World, the famous Seminole Golf Club, built in 1929 by E.F. Hutton and designed by Donald Ross.

Before there was a Juno Beach there was Juno. In the late 1800’s it was the transportation terminal between North Florida through Jupiter to Lake Worth in southern Florida. From 1890 to 1900 Juno was the County Seat of Dade County. Yep, Dade County covered almost all of south Florida back then.

There used to be a water tower in Juno Beach that the Florida Local’s referred to as the “Juno Ball”. The ball was significant for old salt fisherman. If you lined your boat perpendicular to the ball in about 90 feet of water you were guaranteed to hook some impressive fish. It is still a great spot to “night fish” for King Mackerel.

Besides the condominiums on the beach, Weichert Sunshine Properties can find you a lovely single family home just a block or two from the beach.
